This is the photo that I chose for my Transforming Objects project submission. The photo was taken using a Nikon D40 and edited in PhotoShop 7.0. I took this photograph at my in-laws' house; in fact, this shot is one side of their house and was taken from the bottom of the staircase leading up to the upper level of the house. I used a unique angle to give the feeling of “looking up” and used a close-up strategy to hone in on the pattern of the bricks in order to meet the requirements for the photograph.
Chrissy, who knew a picture of a brick wall would be so interesting. I first noticed that all the bricks were not evenly smooth. It makes me wonder if my parents' brick house looks the same way due to settlement. Your trick of shotting the picture at an angle was a great trick!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gayla!

Chrissy,
ReplyDeleteYour photo looks like a painting. You did a great job in transforming the bricks at an angle and the colors are beautiful!
Chrissy,
ReplyDeleteSorry I come up as Anonymous...I tried to get my name in but gave up!!! Who would have thought that brick could be so neat in a photo. I sure look at the world a little differently now that we are in class.
Patty who is really NOT anoymous!
