Photo for Final: Icing on the Cake

I debated between this shot and my other "splash of color" photo to submit for my Photoshop project. I was happy to have the chance to submit this photo now. This photo demonstrates a Photoshop transformation by having one item in the picture in color and the rest in black & white. I like the way the green looks on the black & white in this photo. Hope you enjoy this final photo of the course... Thanks for a great semester!

Project #13- Photoshop Transformation: Flowers from Daddy

The top picture is the original photograph that I enhanced in Photoshop by making the entire photo black & white and leaving one item (the flowers) in color. The bottom picture is the final result after editing in Photoshop. I had so much fun practicing this technique and plan to use it in the future.

Splash of Color Practice

I'm still deciding which picture I'd like to submit for Project #13. I really like the "splash of color" concept, so I played with it a lot. Here are some examples. Let me know what you think!

Project #12- Humor/Cute: Ella Bella

Ella Bella is one of many nicknames that Ella has been given during her one year in this world. This picture definitely depicts that side of her ("bella" means beautiful). She loves to pretend to put makeup on and play with girlie things. Here is a picture of her doing just that.

Project #11- Emotional Movement: Go, Noly, Go!

This is a picture of one of my best friend's son, Nolan. He is such a sweet, active boy. He loves to play outside and is very athletic, as depicted by this photograph.

Project #10: Sadie in the Snow

I was excited to be able to complete the atmospheric space assignment during the recent snow day we had here in Georgia. My little sister Sadie happened to be staying at my house, so I shot a few pictures of her in the snow. Here's what I came up with!
