Rule of Thirds Practice

I'm working on learning the basics here. Project #1 involves the Rule of Thirds. I'm going to post a couple of my attempts and I'd love some input. Both of these pictures were taken at my in-laws' farm. This is one of my favorite places to be (and was also the site of my wedding). I'm sure I will be practicing a lot on the farm!

I'm not sure which photo I will submit for my project yet. Both of these photos were taken with my Nikon D40 and were edited in Photoshop 7.0. I'm seriously trying to figure out this whole Photoshop thing, but I guess that will come with time and lots of practice!

I'm officially a blogger!

Here it is. My first attempt at blogging. I am very excited to explore my photography and blogging skills through my MEDT class at West GA. I'll be posting my projects here, along with some other pictures that I take through my practice.
