Project #3: "The Mill"

This photo contains several textured objects (rocks, water, wood, etc.) to meet the requirements of the project. It was taken at Starr's Mill in Fayette county with my Nikon D40 and edited in Photoshop.

  1. Wow!
This looks beautiful enough to frame. I like the texture of the water, looks like it's rippling. My youngest son as a Nikon D40X, I will borrow it and try some shots! Way to go, girl! You are making the digital divas look good! Well, In fact I am proud of all our works!

  2. Chrissy,

I love how you the water fall looks like it is still flowing off the wall. I have a similar landscape on the road I live of of in Canton. The water will does not rotate any more, but the waterfall is beautiful! Your picture looks like a painting it is so crisp and clean with sharp lines!

  3. I need to get out more to get my photos. This is an excellent example of texture. I learned in trying to do my assignement, that I needed to have more than one texture in the photo for it to really have meaning. This photo has all the elements for an excellent example of texture!
